Upload waypoint/route from PC
Note that all waypoint and route data stored in
your unit will be deleted when data is
uploaded.
1. Connect the PC to the equipment as shown
below.
2. Press the UPLOAD WPT/RTE FROM PC
soft key. You are asked if you are ready to
upload waypoints and routes.
3. Press the [ENTER] key to upload.

1: Waypoint latitude
2: N/S
3: Waypoint longitude
4: E/W
5: Waypoint name (Number of characters is
fixed to 6 and space code is placed when
the number of characters are less than 6.)
6: Waypoint color (On color monitor,
displayed in yellow. Not changed.)
7: Waypoint comment (1 byte for mark code +
13 characters of comment.)
1st byte of mark code: Fixed to ‘@’.
2nd byte of mark code: Internal mark code.

8. Information of marking waypoint. Always
set to “A”.

length of each waypoint name is fixed to 7
byte)
