1.3 Transceiver Unit

Bulkhead mounting only
•
Select a location which provides adequate ventilation.
•
The location must be clean and dry.
•
The mounting location must be able to support the weight of the unit (26 kg) under the
continued conditions of vibration normally encountered aboard the vessel. If necessary,
reinforce the mounting location.
•
Secure the maintenance space shown in the outline drawing at the back of this manual, for
ease of maintenance and service.
Fasten the transceiver unit to the mounting location with six tapping screws. For details, refer to
outline drawings at the back of this manual.
Note: Lift the cover slightly and then lower it to close the cover of the transceiver unit.
