D4 Office The GAP telephone functions
The GAP telephone functions
You can use the handsets D4 Office with GAP telephone systems as well as
with GAP base stations. In these cases the number and type of features you
are familiar with from using the Mobility Server I55 will downgrade to the fea-
tures supported by the respective GAP telephone system or GAP base station.

All features differing very little from those supported by the Mobility
Server I55 are described in the sections ’The telephone features, Making
phone calls as usual’ from page 115 (Calling, block dialling) to page 119
(Rejecting a call).
NOTE
Prior to check in and use your handset together with your GAP tele-
phone system or GAP base station you once must have logged your
handset into this system.
Hence, you can check in to all the systems your handset has been
logged in according to your needs.
Making phone calls to another internal handset of
your private GAP base station
Initiate the internal phone call by pressing in the middle of the
SELECTOR
key .
This key stroke applied on handsets D4 Office is the same as pressing the I
N
-
TERN
al key (Int) of an original GAP handset.

Dial the internal call number of the (original) GAP handset. Wait until the con-
nection will be established. Hold the conversation.
Replace. The internal connection is cut off.
