  From the Main Menu, using the up button 

(8) and down buttons (6) select Battery Test 

(fig. 12) and press enter button (7).

  From the Battery Test menu (fig. 13), use 

the up and down buttons to select Car or 

Scooter and press enter button (7).

  From the Battery Type menu, use the up and down buttons to select the desired 

battery type.

 Car options available (fig. 14).

 Scooter options available (fig. 15).

Note:

 Lithium-ion battery is only for Scooter 

battery types not car.

  Press enter button (7) to confirm your selection.

Note:

 The battery tester will test each battery according to the selected battery 

system standard (see page 9 for description) and rating marked on the battery.

  Use the up and down buttons to select the actual system standard (SAE, 

DIN, IEC, EN, CA, MCA, JIS, BCI, CCA, GB), press enter button (7) to confirm 

selection.

Press the up and down buttons to input the battery cold cranking amps (CCA).

The battery Test Function is programmed with some additional settings which will 

only be available if the results are close to set limit values:

– Battery Temperature: 

This selection step 

will appear if the battery result is around the 

health limit value. Please select if the current 

ambient temperature is above of below 0°C 

(fig. 16).
If the temperature is confirmed to be below 

0°C, the battery must be tested again at an 

ambient temperature above 0°C (allow the 

battery to match the ambient temperature 

before testing).

– Charge State: 

This selection step will 

appear, if the voltage is detected to be at the 

lower limit. Please select if the battery has 

been charged before proceeding (fig. 17).
It is recommended the battery be charged 

and retested after result has been acquired.

Press the enter button (7) to confirm selection and start the test.

10.

  Battery analysis will begin, it will take 3 seconds to display the battery test 

results.
