I/F BOARD
）
The I/F Board has an A/D converter and creates measurement values for the
monitor.
Waveform measurement data are sent to the monitor through HDLC protocol at
1 Mbps.
For control of all of the functions, the following devices are required:
CPU HD6417032F20
Clock: 8 MHz
Peripheral Devices: SCA
EPROM (256 kB)
FLASH Memory (512 kB)
SRAM (256 kB, 2 hours back up)

1.CPU
The CPU buss uses a 22 bit address signal, and a 16 bit data signal.
A two channel serial communication interface is used. Channel 1 is used for the
LED display. Channel 2 is not used.
I/O ports PB3 to PB7 are used for OUTPORT1 to OUTPORT5 signals. The
signal assignment is shown in the following table:

PC7 are for DIP SW functions. The DIP SW is used for FLASH
memory boot software programming. If the four switches are turned on, the
system performs mandatory installation of boot application software.
2.SCA
The SCA is a Serial Communication Controller IC with a two-channel serial
communication port. Channel 1 is used for communication between the module
and the monitor. This is HDLC communication at 1 Mbps. Channel 2 is not
used.
3.EPROM
Erasable Programmable Read Only Memory (EPROM) is used for installation of
the FLASH memory boot program. Normally this EPROM IC is not installed in
the HC-530. It is only used when necessary by manufacturing.
4.Flash Memory
The flash memory is where the application program for the HC-530 resides. The
program area is divided into a boot program area and application program area.
The boot program area is write protected through hardware.
