Mounting the drive
The drive requires a 5 ¼ inch "half-height" slot. It can be installed horizontally or vertically.

When mounting the drive, ensure that the ventilation slits on the drive are kept free.

Install the drive as described in "Installing a disk drive" in the Technical Manual or in the
Operating Manual of the system unit.
Connecting the drive

1 = Power supply connector
2 = Wide SCSI interface

Plug the power supply cable (4-pin) into the power supply socket of the drive (1).

Plug the Wide SCSI cable (68-pin) into the Wide SCSI interface of the drive (2).
