Replacement routines

4.1
Preparation
I
You will find a detailed description for „Opening the server” and for
„Removing the air duct“ in the Options Guide TX100 S1.
4.1.1
Opening the server
Ê
Terminate all applications and shut down the server correctly.
Ê
If your operating system has not switched off the server, press the on/off
button.
Ê
Switch off the power supply unit (use the master switch), and disconnect the
power plug from the grounded shockproof socket.
Ê
If required, remove the lock on the side cover.
Ê
Lay the server on its left side (as seen from the front).
Removing the side cover
Ê
Pull the locking lever as far as it will go.
Ê
Lift up the side cover and remove it.
Lifting up the drive cage
Ê
Pull the locking lever as far as it will go.
Ê
Lift up the side cover and remove it.

The built-in torque controller ensures that the drive cage stays up in any
position.
