1.3 Performance features
The PRIMERGY SX910 S1 storage blade is fitted with a SAS controller of the
LSI 1064E type, which controls a tape drive of the LTO3HH, LTO4HH and
LTO5HH types with SAS interface.
The storage blade has two slots for the SAS controller. This provides the
following configuration options:
Controller installed in the lower slot
The controller accesses the server blade to the left of the storage blade. The
tape drive can be used in this way by the server blade on the left.
Controller installed in the upper slot
The controller accesses the server blade to the right of the storage blade. The
tape drive can be used in this way by the server blade on the right.
