15 Updating the Chassis ID 31

POINT
When converting the server from a rackmount model back to a
deskside model, update the chassis ID as follows:

Check that no media has been left in the floppy disk
drive, CD-ROM, etc.

Turn on the display and any attached peripherals.

Insert the "Hardware Configuration Tool Boot Floppy"
provided with the server in the floppy disk drive and
turn on the server.
The menu will appear.

Select "Server Management Tool" from menu and
press [Enter].
After appearing the DOS prompt, remove the "Hardware Config-
uration Tool Boot Floppy".

Insert the "Server Management Tools" disk provided
with the server into the floppy disk drive and type the
following commands:
A:\>WRTID.BAT F200R.ini [Enter]
The following message appears when properly executed.
Normal END

Turn off the server.
