Complete the product information sheet in Appendix A.

Shutdown the server system if its running.

Turn off the server’s power, display and any attached peripherals.

Disconnect all peripherals and unplug all device power cords.

Removing the hard disk cover

1

Turn the drive cover key counterclockwise to unlock the server.

Wear a wrist grounding strap before removing and attaching
covers.

POINT

Be careful not to lose this key.
If you lose the drive cover key, contact your maintenance engi-
neer immediately.
