Note: To use the tag method to configure a VLAN, the VLAN function must be
supported by not only the GSWB but also switches.
Configuring a VLAN means configuring multiple logical switch networks, with
switch communication enclosed within a single VLAN. A router is required for
communication between VLANS.
z How transmission and reception are handled depends on the port setting statuses
and frame types
The table below lists how transmission and reception are handled depending on the
port setting statuses and frame types. Suitable attention is required when setting up
a VLAN.
