Installing and removing an M.2 module
LIFEBOOK U727 and LIFEBOOK U747 are equipped with a service compartment for an M.2
module. In the LIFEBOOK U757, you can either install an M.2 module (with corresponding
M.2 adapter) or a standard hard disk (HDD, without M.2 adapter), see
installing the hard disk (HDD, LIFEBOOK U757 only)", Page 79
.
Remove the cover

Remove the screws (1).
Keep the screws in a safe place. If you are removing more than one component at
the same time, store the screws for the individual components separate from each
other. If you install the wrong screws, components may be damaged.
The screws are not all the same length and when the cover is installed,
the correct screws must be used.

Lift the cover off the notebook (2).
