Navigation guidance

5. Route guidance

Touch 

 to display the normal 

map. 

●

Touch 

 in this screen to restore 

the compass screen.

When approaching a junction intersection (within about 0.3 miles), the enlarged intersection 
display screen automatically appears.

Road name display

Displays the names of roads at intersections 
and junctions.

Remaining distance display

The distance to the intersection is indicated.

Instruction point

Displays intersection guidance.

Remaining distance meter

Displays the remaining distance to the 
junction.

Enlarged intersection display screen

●

Intersection guidance is not available when driving on minor roads.

●

Road names will not be displayed for intersections for which no information 
exists in the map data.

●

The displayed road name may differ from that of the actual road at the 
intersection.

●

In the following situations, intersection guidance is not performed:

• Immediately after route guidance is started
• In the vicinity of the destination

●

The intersection guidance may be early or late.

• If the next junction intersection is close, the enlarged intersection display will 

continue to be displayed.

●

When an enlarged intersection display screen is shown, the road name will be 
displayed for the junction intersection. The enlarged intersection display screen 
does not appear prior to approaching junction intersections.
