Installing a hard disk drive

Take the new hard disk drive out of its packaging.

Make the required settings (e.g. master/slave, cable select) on the drives.

Secure the EasyChange rails on the side of the hard disk by inserting the upper pins of
the EasyChange rail in the corresponding holes of the hard disk.

Connect the cables to the hard disk drive.

Press the EasyChange rails mounted on the hard disk drive together somewhat (1) and
slide the hard disk drive into the case in the direction of the arrow (2).
6
Close the casing (see "Closing the casing").
It may be necessary to modify the entry for the drive in the BIOS Setup.
EasyChange rails for a second hard disk drive are mounted on the drive cage.
