Press the retainer of the slot on the mainboard in the direction of the arrow (1) until the locking
lug (a) is released and hold it down.

Pull the board evenly out of the slot (2).

Release the retainer.

Ê

 

Place the board into appropriate packaging.

For cooling, protection against fire, and in order to comply with EMC (electromagnetic
compatibility) regulations, you must refit the cover plate.

Ê

 

Push the rear slot cover plate into the slot. Ensure that the point of the cover engages on the
outside of the casing.

Ê

 

Fold the Slotfix clip over the eye in the casing.

Ê

 

Press the tab of the Slotfix clip and hold it down (1).

Hook the locking lug on the tab of the Slotfix clip into the eye in the casing (2).
