1 – CD-ROM indicator
The indicator lights up when the CD-ROM drive is accessed. You may only remove the CD when
the indicator is dark.
2 – SmartCard reader indicator

The indicator lights up:
As soon as the device detects the SmartCard reader, the indicator lights up.
•
The indicator flashes:
The SmartCard reader is being accessed. As long as the indicator flashes, the SmartCard may
not be removed under any circumstances.
•
The indicator does not light up:
The device does not detect a SmartCard reader.
3 – Floppy disk indicator
The indicator lights up when the floppy disk drive of the PC is accessed. You may only remove the
floppy disk when the indicator is unlit.
