Installing memory modules
Ê
Insert the memory module, contacts first,
into the slot.
Ê
Carefully push the memory module
downwards until you feel it latch into place.
Ê
Install additional memory modules in the
same way.
Mounting cover
Ê
Replace the cover.
Ê
Fasten the cover with the screw.
Ê
Refit the battery.
Ê
Turn the notebook over and place it on a
flat surface.
Ê Reconnect the cables.
Ê
Open the LCD display panel.
After installing memory modules
Ê
Switch on the notebook and check whether the changed memory size is detected.
Windows 2000 will automatically change the memory space assignment.

If you are using Windows 98 or Windows NT, please execute the
PHDISK
programme.
