Keyboard does not react or types incorrect
characters
Ê
Check whether the cable of the keyboard radio receiver is properly connected.
Ê
Check whether you have set the correct keyboard driver (country setting).
The program you have started does not allow any further entries.
Ê
Try to end the program, e. g. with the Task Manager.
Forgot BIOS password
If you have forgotten a BIOS password, contact our customer service center.
The PC cannot be switched off with the ON/OFF
switch
Cause: an audio or video CD is being played.
Ê
Shut down the player software before you turn off the PC.
Cause: System crash
Ê
Press the ON/OFF switch for at least four seconds, until the device switches off.
Error messages on the screen
Error messages and their descriptions are listed in the Technical Manual of the system board or in
the "BIOS Setup" manual and in the documentation of the installed software.
Restoring the hard disk contents
When the JETSON is delivered the entire software is already preinstalled on the hard disk.
Use the Recovery CD to restore the software installation e.g if an error occurs.

All data on the C drive (
PROG
) will be overwritten during the recovery process. All data on
the second drive (
DATA
) are retained.
Back up important data from the C drive to the second drive or to an external storage
medium before the recovery.
If you have changed or deleted the name of the C drive (
PROG
) the recovery proccess will
be aborted.

Switch on the JETSON and insert the Recovery CD in the CD-ROM drive.
Ê
Follow the instructions on screen.
For systems without a Recovery CD, consult the documentation booklet for the "Drivers & Utilities"
