Opening the drive cage
With some system extensions, you first have to hinge open the drive cage.
► Open the casing (see "Opening the casing").

► Slightly press the catch (a) in the direction of the arrow (1) to open the lock of the drive cage.
► Pull the catch in the direction of the arrow up to the stop (2).
► Remove the disturbing cables (3):
–
Pull the fan cable and the data cable of the optical drive off the mainboard.
– Pull the data and power supply cable off the hard disk.

Before you can hinge open the drive cage, you first have to remove the disturbing cables
on any installed components.
► Fold up the drive cage (4, 5).

The previously opened catch (a) serves as a support for the drive cage. To avoid damage
and ensure the stability of the drive cage, you must use this support.
