Installing the hard disk 

►

 

Open the casing (see "Opening the casing"). 

►

 

Make the required settings (e.g. master setting) on the drive. 

 

 

 

►

 

Attach the EasyChange rails to the hard 
disk. 

 

i

 

If no hard disk was installed in your system yet, then the EasyChange rails are attached to 
a bracket. Pull this bracket out of the bay like a drive. 

 

 

►

 

Slide the hard disk together with the EasyChange rails into the bay until the hard disk engages 
noticeably. 

►

 

Attach the connectors of the data and power cables at the hard disk drive. 

►

 

If necessary also insert the data cable to the main board. See manual for the mainboard. 

►

 

Close the casing (see "Closing the casing").

It may be necessary to modify the entry for the drive in the 

BIOS Setup

.
