Low-Profile boards
For units with a particularly low overall height, there are so-called low-profile boards with a slot cover
with a lower overall height to match the low-profile units. To also install these low-profile boards in
normal board slots, you must mount a corresponding slot adapter beforehand To do this, you have to
first remove the slot cover from the casing rear panel.
► Remove the slot cover from the casing rear panel (see "Installing a board") and undo the screw
that holds the slot cover together.
► Make the required settings for the board.

Do not dispose of the slot cover. If you remove the board again, you must reinstall the slot
cover (cooling, fire protection or EMC regulations to be complied with).

► Fit the slot adapter in the direction of the
arrow (1) on the slot cover of the low-profile
board and screw it on (2).
Now you can install the low-profile board in a
suitable slot like a normal board (see "Installing a
board").
