• Indicator is lit up: The radio components are switched on.

The numbers shown on the upper right of the keys in the integrated numeric
keypad are enabled.

• Indicator is lit up: The Caps Lock key has been pressed.
All the characters you type will appear in upper case. In the case of overlay
keys, the character printed on the upper left of the key will appear when that
key is pressed.

• Indicator is lit up: The notebook is switched on.
• Indicator fl ashes: The notebook is in power-saving mode.
• Indicator is off: The notebook is switched off.

Hard disk indicator
• Indicator is lit up: One of the drives (e.g. hard disk, CD/DVD) is being accessed.

Rechargeable battery indicator
The battery charge status is shown by the rechargeable battery indicator.
Running on mains power:
• Indicator is on: the battery is charging.
• Indicator is off: The battery is fully charged.
Running on battery power:
• Indicator is on: the battery is nearly empty.
• Indicator fl ashes: The battery is nearly empty and has reached a critical level.
• Indicator is off: The battery has either still got capacity left and is not in a
critical state, or it is completely empty.

• Indicator is on: The touchpad is switched off.
