Life of Consumables

Consumables

Important

• The possible number of pages that can be printed with each print cartridge is the number of pages

printed continuously at a print ratio of 5% using A4 size paper. The replacement cycle varies according
to the conditions of use.

• Life of the toner comes to have a short life when it keeps printing the image like the photograph. (About

2,000 pages)

Note

• The number of sheets listed under lifespan is the number of pages that can be printed continuously

using A4 size paper.

• As the lifespan differs according to factors such as the print contents, paper size, paper type,

environment used, and the frequency of switching on/off the power to the printer, think of it as a
guideline.

• A warning message appears on the printer when the time for replacing a consumable part draws near.

The printer can still be used for a short time after the message is displayed, but you should purchase a
replacement for the consumable part as soon as possible. The warning message appears when the
following values are reached for each part.
• Toner-X (X:Y,M,C,K): Reaches 75% of the number of pages that can be printed (in the product life)
• Fuser Unit, Belt Unit: Reaches 98% of the number of pages that can be printed (in the product life)
