After Taking Pictures (Storage)

Turn the camera off.
Press the “POWER” button/
w
Playback button and change to
Playback mode. Then press Playback
button for a little time.
Make sure that the camera is turned
off.

At the end of shooting, immediately fill a container with fresh
water to wash off the salty sea water.
Rinse the outside of the waterproof
case well by stirring the water by
hand.
If any salt remains on the case, it can
cause rust, local malfunctioning, and
other problems.

Wipe off the water droplets carefully from the waterproof case.
In particular, carefully wipe away
the droplets from the joint of the
waterproof case.
Use a soft, lint-free piece of cloth or
something similar.
Remove the water droplets from
under the Shutter button, the open/
close knob and the others.
