Preliminary check of the case
Before installing the digital camera in the case, make sure that there is no
water leakage.

Check the outside of the waterproof case to make sure that there
are no cracks or faults with it.

Open the waterproof case.

While sliding the lock lever down
( ), hold the top and bottom (the
position of
no
marks) of the
buckle grip and raise it up.

Unlock the buckle hook to open the
waterproof case.

Check the inside of the waterproof case for the following:
• Cracks (especially around the
waterproof sealing)
• Correct seating of the waterproof
sealing
• That the waterproof sealing has
no scratches or cracks, or that it is
oddly shaped, etc.
• Sand or foreign particles stuck to
the waterproof sealing
Make a preliminary submersion test on the waterproof case
before positioning the digital camera
