5.5 INSTALLATION ON A Mac OS X (Hyper-Utility2)

Hardware and software requirements

To run this software, you must have the hardware and software described below. Check your
system before you begin the installation.

1 PowerPC, Intel processor loaded

2 This software will not run correctly in the Mac OS X Classic environment.

3 Sound functions are required to play background music for slide shows.

4 Required to connect the FinePix S2 Pro, FinePix S3 Pro or FinePix S20 Pro and use the Remote Shooting function.

Switch your Macintosh on and start up Mac OS X. Do not launch any other applications.

Load the enclosed CD-ROM into the CD-ROM drive. The “HS_V2” window opens.

If the “HS_V2” window does not open automatically, double-click the CD-ROM icon.

Enter the administrator name and password.
Then click the [OK] button.

The installer setup window appears.

Click the [Continue] button.

Double-click “Installer”.

A confirmation message appears asking
whether you want to continue with the
installation. Click the [OK] button.
