Operation mode SAT-Channel-Router
10.2.1
General
Many receivers offer an operation mode called „ONE CABLE - MODE“ In this a communi-
cation channel ( transponder ) is assigned to each receiver. The receiver receives the wanted
programs only through this communication channel. For program selection the receiver sends
DiSEqC commands to the one-cable device, this interprets the commands and provides the
wanted programs on the assigned transponder.
By this it is possible to give up to 8 receivers, which connected in a tree structure, access
to the complete program spectrum of satellite, which is connected to the one-cable device.
The Add-on function SAT-Channel-Router (SCR) allows it to make up to 8 transponder usea-
ble for this operation mode.
The activation is very easy. You can select a frequency step, which is already prepared for
this mode. Or you activate several transponders in your current working step.
If there is any transponder activated in your frequency
step you will see if you select it. Is this mode active,
transponders working in this mode will be marked in
the overview text-box.
Would you like activate transponders for SCR mode in
current frequency step, go to the entry „Edit“ in the
menu „Frequency step“ .
This opens a new window, where you can select and edit the desired step.
