Input signals and output signals
Pin B1 ............. 24V
Pin C1 ............. Output GND
The Pins B1 and C1 are electrically separated from the power source. They are used as
a signal voltage source. It is thus possible e.g. to control the start signal using an isola-
ted signal.
Pin B2 ............. Input Start+
Pin C2 ............. Input Start—
The power source receives a start signal, as soon as 24V is applied between Pin B2 and
Pin C2.
Important!
The start signal is interrupted if the value I-specified < 10A. The voltage is
thus to be left constant at +24V and the power source is to be controlled using the value
I-specified.
Pin B3 ............. Current conduction output
Pin C3 ............. Current conduction output
The contact is closed as soon as the power source supplies current.
The signal is emitted with a delay of 0.5 seconds.
Important!
The signal is not active if no consumer is connected to the power source.
Pin B4 ............. Output process active
Pin C4 ............. Output process active
The contact is closed as soon as voltage is applied to the power source power sockets.
Important!
The signal is also active if no consumer is connected to the power source.
Pin B5 ............. Output error
Pin C5 ............. Output error
The contact is opened, as soon as an error occurs during the process. At the same time
the power source switches off and the „Malfunction Indicator“ lights up.
After rectifying the error there are 2 possibilities of acknowledging the error:
-
Interrupt start signal
-
Set I-Specified < 10A
„Harting“ Inter-
face Signals
„Binder“ Inter-
face Signals
Pin 2 ................ Input release
Pin 5 ................ Input GND
The power source receives a start signal, as soon as 24V is applied between Pin 2 and
Pin 5.
Important!
The start signal is interrupted if the value I-specified < 10A. The input release
is thus left constantly at GND-level and the power source is to be controlled using the
value I-specified.
