If there is no start process after 30 seconds, the charger switches automatically to the
alternator test. If the start process is not possible, charge or check the battery.
Testing the alter-
nator (Acctiva

only) While the engine is running, the charger checks the voltage the alternator is supplying to
the battery.

To finish the test, disconnect from battery or connect charger to mains supply to
begin charging.
