Connecting Computers, Smart TV and Other Network Devices
Connect network devices to FRITZ!Powerline using a LAN ca-
ble. Network devices include:
•
PC, notebook
•
Blu-ray player, smart TV, satellite/TV receiver
•
printer, network storage
•
IP telephone
Connected network devices belong to the FRITZ!Box home
network, receive an IP address from the FRITZ!Box and can
use the Internet connection of the FRITZ!Box.
Connecting a Network Device
1.
Insert a LAN cable into the “LAN” port.
2.
Insert the free end of the cable into a LAN port on the
network device.
The network device is connected with the Internet access of
the FRITZ!Box via the powerline connection.
Connecting Network Devices via Hub or Switch
A hub or switch can also be connected to the “LAN” port.
Network devices connected to the hub or switch can ex-
change data with other devices in the local network and use
the Internet connection of the FRITZ!Box.
