You can define what additional information should be dis-
played on the “INFO” LED. For details, see the “System /
“INFO” Display” menu in the user interface of your
FRITZ!Box Fon WLAN 7340.

WLAN Button
The FRITZ!Box is equipped with a WLAN button.
The button has two functions:
•
enabling/disabling WLAN
•
establishing a WLAN connection with the WPS meth-
od (see “WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup)” from
page 142)
If you hold the button down longer than six seconds,
this function will be executed. For this to work, your
WLAN adapter must support the WPS method.

DECT Button
The FRITZ!Box is equipped with a DECT button. The DECT
button has two functions:
•
Ring to search for misplaced handsets (paging call)
If you press the DECT button once briefly, the handset
will ring.
•
Start the login procedure to register handsets
How to register a DECT handset is explained in the
section “DECT Function” from page 46.
