Dialing Rules
With the FRITZ!Box Fon dialing rules you can influence how
your terminal devices behave during dialing. You can define
whether connections are to be established using the Internet
or the fixed-line network, and specify rules excepting certain
ranges of numbers.
For more information on the telephony settings, see also the
section “Making Phone Calls with FRITZ!Box Fon” on
page 32.
Quick-Dial
In this area you can assign quick-dial codes to your tele-
phone numbers and Internet numbers. All of these numbers
then can be called simply by entering the quick-dial code.
4.5 Journal
Event Log
Messages about the activities and conditions of the
FRITZ!Box Fon Internet connection(s) are registered in the
Event Log. These messages are sent directly by FRITZ!Box Fon
and refer only to the DSL line and events associated with
FRITZ!Box Fon’s control of the Internet connection. Other ac-
tions, such as Internet connections controlled by programs
on the connected computers, are displayed in the respective
programs and not included here. See the Online Help in the
FRITZ!Box Fon window for an overview of the messages.
List of Computers
All connected computers are shown in the “List of Comput-
ers” window, displayed with their names, IP addresses and
MAC addresses.
