Enable the options “Obtain an IP address automatically” and
“Obtain DNS server address automatically” for the Internet pro
tocol version 6 (TCP/IPv6) as well.
The network device receives an IP address from the FRITZ!Box.
Obtaining an IP Address Automatically in Mac OS X

Select the “System Preferences” in the Apple menu.

In the “System Preferences” window, click “Network”.
3.
In the “Network” window, select the “Ethernet” entry from
the
“Show:” list.
4.
Switch to the “TCP/IP” settings page and select the “Using
DHCP:” option from the “Configure IPv4” drop-down menu.
5.
Click “OK”.
The network device now automatically receives an IP address from
the FRITZ!Box.
