NEVER
touch the operation buttons, the electrical cord or the plug with wet
hands, and
NEVER
immerse them in water or any other liquid. They are only
to be cleaned with a damp cloth. Should they get wet anyway, immediately
pull out the plug from the socket.

NEVER
use separate timers or remote-control systems.
•
The appliance is meant for cutting fruit, vegetables, bread, cheese, meat and NOT for hard substances such
as wood, bones, cans…
•
Do not use the slicer for 10 minutes nonstop. Let the motor cool down at least as long before putting away.

NEVER
place the power supply cord near heat sources such as cookers, heatings or ovens.
•
Always place the appliance on a solid and flat base, such as a kitchen counter or table, so that the appliance
won t move or turn over.

If the appliance should fall into water when plugged in, first remove the plug from the socket before you
remove the appliance from the water. Then bring the appliance to an authorized after sales service.

NEVER
use extension cords or sockets. Place the appliance near a power point and connect it directly.
ALWAYS
complete unroll the power cord.

let the cord hang over the edge of the table or the counter.

take the appliance by the cord.

bend or squeeze the electrical cord or turn it round the
appliance or on sharp edges.

touch the knife or any other moving parts with your hands.

Only use the appliance on the mains voltage as indicated on the identification label.

This appliance is only suited for indoor household use, and not for professional use.

Only use original accessories.
2.
BEFORE THE FIRST USE
•
Remove all packaging and stickers.
•
Keep packaging away from children.
•
First check your appliances for possible damages. If it is damaged, do NOT use the appliance but bring it
back to your sales point.
•
Clean the appliance as described under Cleaning before the first use.
•
The appliance is now ready for use.
•
Check that the mains voltage of the appliance is the same as the mains voltage in your home.
3.
USE AND OPERATION
•
Fold down the base. Fix with the sliders on both sides of the appliance.
•
Put the carriage and the rest holder in place. With the control button you can set the desired cutting
thickness (in mm).
•
Place the synthetic collecting plate under the slicer. Use the carriage to press the food against the stop
plate.
•
Switch on the appliance by pressing the On/Off switch. Position I for continuous use ant position II for
interrupted use. Gently and smoothly push the carriage forward and against the rotating knife, do not push
too hard, let the knife work.
•
Always use the rest holder for your own safety.
TIP: Moist the knife with a cloth before slicing cheese.
