BEFORE THE FIRST USE

Remove all packaging and stickers.
▪
Before the first use we recommend cleaning the appliance such as described in 4. Cleaning.
▪
Ensure that the voltage marked on the appliance is the same as your main voltage. According to the safety law:
only use earthed sockets.

USE AND OPERATION

Only use the Rice & Pasta Cooker to cook pasta, rice and other cereals such as couscous, quinoa,
bulgur, …
▪
NEVER
turn the appliance on without sufficient water in the inner pan (minimum indication on the inside of the
inner pan).
1)
Cooking Pasta
1.
Put water in the inner pan, between the PASTA MIN and MAX indication on the inside of the inner pan.
2.
Put the lid on the appliance.
3.
Put the plug into the socket.
4.
Push the On/Off button: the control light above the On/Off button will blink.
5.
Push the Pasta button: the control light 5 min. will light up.
Push once again on the Pasta button: the control light 10 min. will light up.
Push once again on the Pasta button: the control light 15 min. will light up.
After 5 seconds the appliance will start to warm up.
The light above the Pasta button will light up.
Recommended times:
5 minutes for thin pasta
10 minutes for medium pasta
15 minutes for large pasta

As soon as the water boils there will be a sound signal.
CAREFUL: the boiling water produces hot steam which comes out the openings in the lid.

Carefully open the lid, put the pasta in the water. Make sure the pasta can completely be immerged. Do
NOT
put the lid back on the appliance.
8.
As soon as the cooking time is over (5-10-15 minutes) the appliance automatically switches to the keep
warm function. A sound signal will be heard. The control light above the Pasta button will go out and the
