INSTALLATION
If this new freezer, equipped with a magnetic closure of
the door replaces an older type with a spring-closed door,
we advise you to make sure that the door of the
discarded freezer can no longer be closed from the
outside.
In this way, children who come to play near the discarded
freezer will be unable to close themselves within, at the
risk of their lives.
Location
We advise you to position your freezer far from all
sources of heat (ovens, kitchen units, or excessive
sunlight). For the satisfactory operation of the
freezer, the room temperature must remain within
the range of +18
°
C to 43
°
C.
Make sure that air is allowed to circulate freely
around the freezer. To ensure greater efficiency,
leave a minimum space of 5 mm between the upper
part of the freezer and any shelves or surfaces
which come to be positioned above the freezer (see
Fig. 1-A). The ideal location is indicated in
Figure 1-B (without any overhanging surfaces).
Ensure the perfect horizontal level of the freezer by
adjusting the support feet.

The electrical connection
Before plugging your freezer into the wall socket,
make sure that the voltage and frequency indicated
on the freezer’s rating plate conform to the same
electrical specifications in your home.
The maximum permissible tolerance difference is
±
6%.
To use your freezer at differing voltages, a
transformer of adequate power MUST be used.
Important
Make sure that your wall socket functions correctly
and that it is suited to the direct connection of the
freezer plug. This latter conforms with the existing
safety regulations currently in force and is equipped
with a grounding wire. This plug may be connected
to any standard socket which may accomodate an
earthing connection.
The manufacturer declines all liability for eventual
damages and accidents whenever this fundamental
safety measure is not observed or whenever the
earthing connection has not been performed
correctly.

Cleaning
Once the correct installation has been effected, we

lukewarm water in order to remove the typical
«brand-new» odour. Do not use abrasive-dust
powders or metallic sponges.
