Electric safety regulations for the initial installation
Connecting (Power and Control Cable)
1. If there is serious safety problem
about the power supply, the
technicians should refuse to install
the air conditioner and explain
to the client until the problem is
solved.
2. Power voltage should meet the
requirements in table 2.1.
3. Over current protection and
circuit disconnect should meet
the requirements in table 2.1 and
the applicable local and national
electrical codes.

cable from the outdoor unit to indoor unit consists of four wires and provides
the power for the indoor unit as well as the communication signal and ground
between the outdoor and indoor unit. Two wires are high voltage AC power,
one is low voltage DC signal and one is a ground wire.

4. Ensure the air conditioner is
grounded well.
5. All wiring must comply with local
and national electrical codes and
be installed by qualified and skilled
electricians.
6. An individual branch circuit used
only for this air conditioner must be
available. See table 2.1.
