SETTING MICROWAVE CONTROLS
Add Cook Time (+30 Sec)
Pressing the
START
pad once starts cooking at
100% power with 30 seconds of cooking time.
Pressing the
START
pad during cooking adds 30
seconds (for each press) to the cook time at the
current power level.
NOTE:
The “+30sec” function is not available when
using the Defrost or any of the Preset features.
Defrost
The auto defrost feature provides you with the best
defrosting method for frozen foods. The cooking
guide will show you which defrost sequence is rec-
ommended for the food you are defrosting.
For added convenience, the Auto Defrost includes
a built-in beep mechanism that reminds you to
check, turn over, separate, or rearrange the food in
order to get the best defrost results. Three diff er-
ent defrosting levels are provided: MEAT, POULTRY,
and FISH.
To set automatic defrost:
1. Press

until the correct food type dis-
plays.

Popcorn
CAUTION
DO NOT leave the microwave oven unattended
while popping corn.
The Popcorn feature lets you pop three diff erent
sizes of commercially packaged microwave pop-
corn.

Potato
The potato feature cooks 1-4 baked potatoes auto-
matically (starting from room temperature).
Note:
Foods with unbroken outer “skin” -- such as
potatoes, hot dogs, sausages, tomatoes, apples,
chicken livers and other giblets, and egg yolks --
should be pierced to allow steam to escape during
cooking.
To set the Potato feature:
