Appendix E - Changing the Battery
A Li-ion battery is an optional feature. Contact Freedom Scientific if you later
wish to purchase a battery.
To remove a battery and replace it with a charged battery, do the following:

1. Power off and unplug the unit.
2. Open the unit as described earlier in
Setting Up the Unit
on page 3.
3. Carefully lay the unit on its back with the monitor hanging over the edge of
a table, desk, or other sturdy surface.
