CONTROL PANEL

 Display

The  numeral  shown  in  the  tens  place  is  the  bank  number  and  the
numeral shown in the ones place is the number of the preset currently
recalled.  When  MIDI  signals  are  sent  or  received,  the  dot  labeled

MIDI SIG

” is lit and when Memory Protect function is active, the dot

labeled “

M.PROTECT

” is lit.

 100 LED

This LED illuminates to indicate number 100 when the MIDI program
change  number  or  MIDI  control  change  number  is  over  100.  For
example, if the

100

LED illuminates and the Display shows “01”, then

this  means  No.  101.  When  the  Display  shows  the  bank  or  preset
number,  this  LED  indicates  the  tens  of  the  bank  number.  If,  for
example, the

100

LED illuminates and the Display shows “15”, then

this means Bank no. 11, Preset no. 5.

 INC/+ and DEC/– switches

Used to change the bank number when in usual mode (Preset mode)
and used to change parameters when in Edit mode.

 STORE switch

Used when storing your change to the setting in the preset.

 ENTER switch

Used in Edit mode to select the item to be edited or to confirm the

 LOCK switch

Used  to  lock  the  switches  on  the  control  panel,  preventing
unintentional tampering. Holding this switch for three seconds locks
the switches and the LED illuminates. Pressing the switch for three
seconds again unlocks the control panel and the

LOCK

 LED goes

off. Note that the

INC/+

 and

DEC/–

switches are not locked in order

to change the bank number.

 DISP MODE (Display Mode) switch

Used  to  change  operating  modes  of  the  LED  displays  or  Select
Switches.

 Effect Loop/Control Terminal LED

Indicates  the  on/off  status  of  each  loop  (L1–L5)  and  each  control
terminal  (C1–C3).  Loops  can  be  turned  on/off  by  pressing  the
corresponding Select Switches ( ) 1–8.

 Select Switches

Used to edit or confirm the contents saved in presets. Note that the
items  to  be  selected  vary  according  to  the  mode  selected  by  the

DISP MODE

 switch.

 MIDI CH (PC NUMBER) LED

When  the  Display  is  set  to  MIDI  PC  &  CC#  mode,  pressing  any  of
the  Select  Switches  ( )  1–4  selects  the  corresponding  MIDI  send
channel.  Select  Switches  1–4  correspond  to  MIDI  channels  CH1–
CH4 respectively. The LED above the pressed switch illuminates and
the MIDI program change number being sent via the current preset is
shown in the Display ( ).

 CSW (CC NUMBER) LED

When the Display is set to MIDI PC & CC# mode, this LED indicates
the  on/off  status  of  CSW  (control  switch)  function.  CSW  (control
switch)  can  be  turned  on/off  by  pressing  the  corresponding  Select
Switches ( ).
