How to Set

Control Type [CT]

This  item  is  used  to  select  the  operation  type  for 
CONTROL 1–3 from LATCH and MOMENTARY.

MOMENTARY1  (MON1): 

The  contact  closes  for 

100  ms  only  when  the  CONTROL  is  turned  ON, 
allowing  a  momentary  operation.  This  mode  can 
be  used  for  controlling  an  amplifier  channel  that 
supports momentary operations.

MOMENTARY2  (MON2): 

The  contact  closes  for 

100 ms when the CONTROL is turned ON or OFF, 
allowing  a  momentary  operation.  This  mode  can 
be used for controlling a device that turns on/off its 
effects, etc. by momentary operations.

MUTE MODE [MM]

This  item  is  used  to  set  the  operation  mode  for 
the 

MUTE

 switch. When set to AUTO, pressing a 

preset switch automatically clears the mute status. 
When set to MANUAL, the mute status is cleared 
by pressing the 

MUTE

 switch again.

Memory Protect [PR]

This item is used to protect the settings stored in 
the  ARC-53M  from  tampering.  The 

M.PROTECT

 

dot  in  the  display  illuminates  when  the  protection 
is turned on.

LED Brightness [BR]

This  item  is  used  to  adjust  LED  brightness.  If  the 
LED is too dim during outdoor performance, set this 
parameter to “2” (bright).

Parameter: 1 = standard, 2 = bright (default: 1)

PGM DUMP/LOAD [DP]

This  item  is  used  to  delete  the  contents  of  the 
specified preset.

This item is used to transfer the data saved in one ARC-53M 
to another ARC-53M or vice versa.
