•Non-rechargeable batteries are not to
be recharged.
•Rechargeable batteries are only to be
charged under adult supervision.
•Rechargeable batteries are to be removed from
the toy before being charged.
•Different types of batteries or new and used
batteries are not to be mixed.
•Batteries are to be inserted with the correct polarity.
•Exhausted batteries are to be removed from the toy.
•The supply terminals are not to be short-circuited.
R eferences to the left or the right side of the
engine mean the left or right side when
viewed from the fan end. Cylinders 1-3 are on the
left side of the engine and cylinders 4-6 are on
the right.
I dentify the various parts by looking at the list
of components and the corresponding illustrati-
ons. Use a sharp craft knife or some snips to
remove parts from the carrier frames (sprues).
To ensure smooth running, always trim any
excess plastic from the parts. You may find it
useful to also have some fine (400 grit) sand-
paper to smooth any rough edges on small parts.
T he valve springs are mounted around the
camshaft. This helps protect them during
transit, and prevents them from becoming tangled.
T ake care not to over-tighten the screws as
this may permanently damage the plastic.
