and the main frame, allowing the user to have the leveller drive straight behind the
tractor or offset to either side.
As an option, a hydraulic cylinder can be selected to provide more variable
adjustment.
When setting the manual lateral displacement, the blade is lowered onto a firm level
surface. The leveller is disconnected from the tractor and driven at least 3 metres
away.
You can now pick up the stop axle and easily turn the three-point hitch to the desired
side and then reinstall the stop axle. (See Photo 8)
WARNING
Never stand on the side to which you turn the three-point hitch, as you could
get crushed.
Setting the hydraulic lateral displacement (extra equipment)
If hydraulic lateral displacement is selected, the leveller can be easily adjusted by
operating the tractor's hydraulic output, into which the two quick couplings are
inserted, which are located on the hydraulic hoses and come from the hydraulic
cylinder on lateral displacement.
Maintenance and repairs
To reduce the risk of accidents and to ensure a long service life, the leveller must be
regularly maintained. In general, be aware of any jarring sounds or malfunctions and
go through the machine to check and repair the damage if necessary.
Important.
Before any maintenance or repair, the blade is lowered so that both the wheels
and the blade are in contact with a firm and even surface. Then stop the tractor.
If the leveller is disconnected from the tractor, wedges must be fitted under the
tyres.
Lubrication
The GT-300AUS is fitted with lubrication nipples in all the various moving parts. As all
moving parts, except the wheels, are plain bearings/bushings with a low speed of
movement, it is recommended to use LGEM grease containing molybdenum to give
the product a longer life.
In the ball bearings of the wheels it is recommended to use LGMT ball bearing
grease.
Important.
Products containing molybdenum must not be used in the ball bearings.
See Photo 21 page 13 for the location of lubrication nipples.
It is recommended to lubricate all sliding bearings and bushings twice a day for 8
hours of daily use.
The ball bearings in the wheels are lubricated twice a year for 8 hours of daily use.
All parts assembled from the factory are lubricated during assembly.
