FAULT CHECK (possible cause) REMEDY
The motor does not start. 1. Check that the pressure switch
is connect.
2. Ensure that the tank preloading
pressure is not higher than the
minimun value of the pressure
switch.
2. Set the preloading pressure 0,5
bar below the minimun value of the
pressure switch.
The motor does not stop when the
demand for water has ceased. 1. Ensure that the value at which
the pressure switch is set to stop
the motor is not higher than the
pressure than the pump can
generate (s delivery).
2. Check that the pressure switch
contacts move freely. 1. Set the pressure switch at a
lower pressure.
2. Otherwise change the pressure
switch.
The pressure transducer starting
and stopping frequently during
normal water delivery. 1. Check the setting of the
pressure switch which with
certainly be too low.
2. Check that the diaphragm of the
expansion chamber (if used) is
unbroken. 1. Increase the setting values of
the pressure switch until the
problem is overcome. Do not forget
to reset the minimun intervention
pressure.
2. Otherwise remove the fault.
