Install a new coiled-strip spring

Important!
• Grease the bearing bore of the coiled-strip spring and the skids of the slider (i). Use
grease only; do not use oil!
• Carefully note the position in which the coiled-strip spring is mounted. The coiled-
strip spring must roll off along the right-hand side of the guide rail.
• Make sure that the coiled-strip spring moves easily and that the locking nut (f) is
firmly seated.

Reassemble in the reverse order.

Pull the guide block all the way down and grease the surfaces of the new coiled-strip
spring.
