Manual focusing is impossible if the two arrows
cannot be brought to appear in the focus indi-
cator simultaneously. In this case, focus on a
well-textured subject of higher contrast at the
same distance.
To re-enable autofocusing, press menu button

Note
With interchangeable lenses of longer than
180mm focal length coarse manual focusing
will be required because in this case the focus-
ing system may, for physical reasons, be in error.
