PROGRAMMING THE HEADEND
Press any button on the numeric keypad and the message “PIN CODE” is displayed. Insert the PIN
code and press the button
. The default code is 0000. To change the PIN code please see the
Chapter .0:
From the initial menu press the
key when the cursor is flashing on HEADEND SETUP to get access
to configure the unit.
Selecting a new PIN code:
Enter the menu “Change PIN code” and the message “Insert new PIN” appears. Enter 4 numbers and
confirm using the
key. Enter the new PIN number again to confirm. The PIN will be changed if the
new code has been entered correctly twice.
If you forget the PIN number
:
If an incorrect PIN number is entered three times the headend will lock up. You can either wait 15
minutes and try again or reset the compact headend but all existing parameters will be lost and the
headend will need to be re-programmed.
