PROCEED
Visual inspection of turbocharger
Only proceed when the engine is not rotating.
In order to detect possible faults, visually check the turbine and
compressor impellers and relevant inlet and outlet ducts.
The failure to observe the aforesaid procedure does not
guarantee the presence of the correct quantity of
coolant in the engine.
ATTENTION!
When the engine is hot, pressure builds up in the
cooling circuits which may eject hot liquid violently,
resulting in a risk of burns. Open the filler cap of the
coolant tank only if necessary and only when the
engine is cold.
