ADJUSTING THE MOVING MECHANISM
The rotary mower is equipped with a moving mechanism allowing the machine to be moved to either side
with respect to the tractor centre line. This enables the user to cultivate the soil as close to crops as
possible.
To perform the moving – adjusting operation:
-
Loosen two screws securing the movable frame.
-
Move the “three-point” frame to the desired side (the transmission shaft is protected with a guard).
-
Retighten the locking screws on the movable frame.
The mower is ready for operation!
The maximum moving distances for each side are given in the table on page 28 for different swath
widths.

STORING THE MOWER
- If the mower is put out of operation for a longer period of time, remove all dirt and grass accumulated
on the mower parts that come into contact with them. Pay particular attention to the inside of the
protective canvas and coupler.
- Wash the machine thoroughly after cleaning.
- Discharge the oil from reduction gear and side-mounted transmission, and fill them with clean oil to the
required level. (Dispose of the waste oil in accordance with the environmental regulations.)
- Carefully remove excess oil with a cloth.
- Tighten all screws and nuts on the machine.
- Clean rusty spots and apply protective paint to all exposed surfaces.
- Raise the machine onto a wooden platform under a roof or in a separate dry room.
- If the above operations are performed with due care, the machine will remain mobile and ready for
operation.
STORING THE JOINT COUPLING — PTO SHAFT
- Check the PTO shaft joint at least once a year, and preferably after the end of the season.
- Check the permissible safety torque in the nearest service centre.
- When checking the joint, always use the PTO shaft manual supplied with the shaft.
