Attaching the rotary mower to the tractor
DANGER: Attaching the mower to the
tractor can be extremely
hazardous. Exercise great caution
and observe the instructions.
DANGER:
Use
a
tractor
configuration
that
meets
the
rotary
mower requirements.
Always perform the attaching operation on an even surface as follows:
1.
First, remove the paint from the mower trunnions.
2.
Reverse the tractor slowly to position it perpendicular to the rotary mower, lower the lower
linkages using the hydraulic controls until they reach the height of the centre line of the mower
attachment points, and turn the tractor engine off.
IMPORTANT:
If the tractor is poorly positioned, it is much easier to move the tractor forward or
backward than trying to drag the rotary mower towards the tractor linkages by using your own
strength.
3.
Attach the upper linkage to the top point support on the mower frame (Fig. 4, pos. A).

position.

PTO shaft.
4.
Attach the left lower linkage (and the stabiliser link, if used) to the left rotary mower trunnion, and
secure it in this position with the provided keys (Fig. 4, pos. B).
5.
Attach the right lower linkage (and the stabiliser link, if used) to the right rotary mower trunnion,
and secure it in this position with the provided keys (Fig. 4, pos. C).
6.
Attach the front end of the PTO shaft (the end with the friction clutch) to the connecting shaft of
the mower and secure it in this position (Fig. 4, pos. D).
